So far, only Daily Mail is reporting this incident (other reports quote Daily Mail) and what seems odd is that a similar episode occured almost exactly a year ago. Seems likely this is an echo. HJ 03:25, 14 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

How are the type numbers assigned? By year of introduction? What? TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 21:31, 13 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Type 039A - how many? edit

This article could do with a tabulated list of the individual ships. It does not mention the year in which each was launched or brought into service. Most importantly, while Type 039G units are quantified and named (hull numbers), there is no indication as to whether multiple units of Type 039A were built, and when. In fact, the Type 039A is described in Western sources as "Type 041" (Yuan class) and is the subject of a separate article, but this is not clear from the present article.
