Plying: (...) A two-ply is (thus) a yarn plied from two strands, a six-ply is one from six strands, and so on. Most commercial yarns are more than a two ply.--62.158.226.180 (talk) 14:33, 11 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have never heard of two ply being used as a slang term for a second chance, and I can find no evidence to support this meaning. I have removed the section. 128.158.129.247 (talk) 18:19, 31 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
