Deletion? edit

This page has been nominated for deletion. I would argue that Twin Temple lives up criterion #7: “Has become one of the most prominent representatives of a notable style.”

They are the only band of the genre Satanic Doo-Wop, which makes them culturally significant, at least within the indie culture. VicStr (talk) 03:08, 30 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Deletion? No! edit

They are still a indie band, but they are growing a reputation for not paying their crew. They have released two albums.and sevens singles. They have been mentioned in magazines such as Revolver and LA Times. Alex Jones and Infowars also did an entire episode about them. They are gaining quite the following around the world, and they are also forming their own musical style.

I have no affiliation with the band, with the soul exception of having heard and read about them recently and was surprised that there was no entry about them on Wikipedia.

They also have over a million listeners on Spotify.

I do believe they live up to Wikipedia’s requirements for being notable. VicStr (talk) 04:04, 30 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Not paying their staff edit

Add to “controversy”

Recently they have courted more controversy over alleged refusal to pay their crew. Their heavy handed approach in attempting to resolve the matter by use of legal threats, amounting to blackmail, has resulted in a movement amongst crew in the UK to blacklist them in support of the injured parties.

In 2022 the band were accused of not paying their technical staff over a number of shows and staff members. However these accusations were withdrawn and a statement clearly written by a lawyer was posted. unfortunately for the band this statement had the opposite effect as it was clear it was made under duress, with the statement later being amended to add how the band were "lovely people to work with", a sentiment that was not expressed in the original statement. Although the statements purpose was to protect their reputation it had the opposite effect, resulting in the wider industry blacklisting them. 92.238.5.222 (talk) 12:32, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Regarding not paying their staff edit

These accusations are unfounded and unsourced lies and should not appear either on the main page or in the talk section. They have been deleted multiple times as being vandalism on the main page. Since they represent untrue lies and not a genuine discussion they should be deleted from the discussion page also. 2603:8000:E200:829B:85E8:591F:AE4C:974C (talk) 19:50, 21 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

You are right, as far as content goes in the article it's self. As the warnings left on your user talk page indicates, refactorization of the comments of others on any talk pages is disruptive. You are free to challenge the person to cite a reliable source on the talk page, but please do not remove their comments. BlueNoise (Désorienté? It's just purple) 19:56, 21 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
I dont find the "not paying their staff section" to be a genuine discussion topic at all. It is being placed on the main page and on this page with the sole intention of harassing the band. How do we get this permanently removed from the main page AND from the talk page if I am not allowed to edit the talk page? 2603:8000:E200:829B:FC3F:E652:C8F1:31B (talk) 20:01, 21 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
I've left a request for the IP editor to cite a reliable source for inclusion with their request, as well as on the talk page of the editor who added the content to the actual article. In the mean time, you should consider reading the guideline about assuming good faith when it comes to collaberating with other editors. At this point all we have is a request from the IP editor, and nothing else. We can't assume the intentions of others with nothing else to go on. BlueNoise (Désorienté?
