Relevant info merged with Street Fighter III edit

I wonder what warranted deleting this entire article? Are you going to do this to all the Street Fighter characters? Nawara Ven 13:40, 1 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Cameo sighting? edit

[Possible spoiler] Just wanted to point out, for those who didn't know, Twelve has, in fact, made a cameo appearance in another game, despite what it says near the top of this article. The appearance in question is in Urien's ending from Capcom Fighting Evolution. What I want to know is, can this be counted? Sprinter h 07:34, 14 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Twelve is one of the best characters I've found in SFIII, the trivia is just some random dude's opinion.

There were a few spelling mistake that I fixed. But overall, it's still badly written and has incorrect grammar usage.

I'm confused with one of his win quotes "EMAO" Can someone explain? Maybe it's a mistranslation of LMAO?

I dunno about "EMAO", but he still has less cameos than the average Street Fighter character. Most characters in Street Fighter appear in merchandising or promo artwork. The only times I've seen Twelve in such is in Epic Battles, Urien's ending (which actually is more like a bunch of Twelve-like warriors, I'm not sure if it could be considered the Twelve from SFIII), and in a certain promo artwork of every Street Fighter character created. Other than that, he has little to nothing in the way of cameos. I think the trivia works as a little bit of info for the diehard Street Fighter knowledge geeks (like me, haha) Akumakendan 19:13, 27 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

XCOPY edit

  • XCOPY is not a good super for a lot of reasons. The major reason is that while in XCOPY mode, you can't do EX moves. This is especially significant against characters like Alex and Elena, who rely on having meter to do EX moves. And of course, not being able to do a super really makes XCOPY irrelevant against Yun and Chun-Li. The other reason is that when XCOPY runs out, you spend the rest of the match at a major stamina disadvantage. I'm writing these things into the article and taking out the POV stuff about "major fighting force". Not only is it POV, it's simply not true. Danny Lilithborne 21:56, 28 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
    • Good point. I was mostly just trying to find a way to show that Twelve isn't a "weak" character, he's just much more difficult to use than others (which still makes him undesirable for tournament play). I think the full techniques list you added displays Twelve's unusual abilities well. Nawara Ven 00:14, 1 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
      • Well, my brother plays Twelve (and can win with him) so I know his abilities a little better than most. He almost always uses XNDL ;) Danny Lilithborne 00:17, 1 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Twelve is a really crappy character, but he's inexplicably fun. I know as well as anybody what he can do, and believe you me he's not a 'good' character. SA1 is the best because you get two bars, it lets you do a semi-decent amount of damage rather than just throwing all of the time, and it does JUST AS MUCH damage as SA2. XCOPY is effin' clown shoes, you should only use it in money matches against people who really need to learn a lesson. --Thongboy Bebop (8/30)
