Turk edit

What has being a Turk got to do with this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.85.23.212 (talk) 10:37, 14 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Read the synopsis. You'll understand. (professor2789 (talk) 07:59, 23 February 2009 (UTC))Reply

Book? edit

I know it has been 25+ years, but I could swear that I read "Turk 182" in Junior High School as a book before it came out in movie form. However, I can find no reference or indication of the book preceeding the movie. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.210.27.106 (talk) 12:02, 22 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Film rating edit

The page says that this was one of the first PG-13 movies, and one of the sources listed is this NY Times article: http://www.nytimes.com/movie/review?res=9D04E1D81439F936A25751C0A963948260

The problem is that the article states "Running time: 97 minutes. This film is rated R."

I am removing the article as a source because it directly contradicts what it is supposed to be a source for. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DugongAKAmanatee (talkcontribs) 12:58, 16 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

"Queensborough" edit

The sign on the bridge said "Queensborough" because the "U" was necessary for the plot (spelling TURK). The only reference to this factoid I could find is here: https://www.nytimes.com/1984/07/05/nyregion/new-york-day-by-day-045274.html. I made that small change to the text, but didn't add the reference with a footnote. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Danchall (talkcontribs) 17:48, 23 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
