We are from THDC a public sector dealing with construction of Hydro POwer projects in uttranchal. The Geology of Himalaya is hetrogenious and traverse is encountered with frequent hetrogenity in rock/ soil mass. Presently a 14 km long head race tunnel is proposed to be constructed for the project. the traverse of the tunnel is mainly through sale, slates, dolomite and some bands of quartzite rock type.
