Removed reference to adult shop edit
There were no references and it appeared to be spam from a disgruntled resident. I live in Tugun and from talking to the council, it appears that the shop is licensed and legal. 203.206.34.66 12:55, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
Nickname edit
Having had a local resident attempt to remove the nickname because they have never heard of it, I have weakened the claim to "Some locals ...". I must confess that I share some suspicion myself as I can't find Tugz come up in Google search except in a couple of Gold Coast tourism sites and other sites that appear to be copied from them. If the nickname was a moderate level of use, you would expect to see it on social media and other places where people write informally and I don't see it. Kerry (talk) 21:10, 26 December 2022 (UTC)
- As a local, it's very commonly used. When I googled ""tuges" gold coast", there were some weak sources. I've never seen the spelling that's used. Doctorhawkes (talk) 00:53, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
