My question: how are we going to resolve this?

I had a quick look at WORMS (http://www.marinespecies.org/aphia.php?p=taxlist search term tritonia) and another at sea slug forum (http://www.seaslugforum.net/species_search.cfm taxonomic search tritonia) and have come up with two differing lists of species. If B&R is the authority, who has B&R and can check against them? Otherwise my plan is to use WORMS and Sea slug forum, reference each species listed in the main list and any species which doesn't appear in either (or isn't currently referenced) can go in a 'disputed species' section in the Tritonia article. Might that be a decent plan? then at least people will know which species are solid and referenced and which need checking.

It depends on how AR you want to be about references. Do you want to actually check the reference yourself, or will you accept the word of someone who has a record of being trustworthy to check it for you?. The species stubs for many of the listed tritonia on WP have referenced B&R. Check the page history, I think Snek01 has done most of them already. I have removed this comment from the top of the article page and placed it here. I am not sure who left the note, whether it was User:Snek01 or perhaps someone else. Invertzoo (talk) 22:03, 15 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
