I don't know where I can get this information from an "official" source... I lived there for the first 18 years of my life, and my parents still live there, so I'm pretty sure my information is accurate.

Most of Tribes Hill is in the Town of Mohawk, but part of it is in the Town of Amsterdam. In fact, both the Post Office and my parents' home are in the Town of Amsterdam. The location of the town line is easily visible from the Post Office property, and it is not more than a couple hundred yards from the house.

Small changes on this page, and on the pages for the towns of Amsterdam and Mohawk should be made to accommodate this information.
