...And I'll take this one!--AlexandraIDV 17:33, 2 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Infobox

  • Hiroshi Kato, Masayoshi Suto, and Takaaki Ikeda are only mentioned in the infobox, where they are unsourced

Gameplay

  • Since both Wii Remote and Nunchuk lead to the same article, I would suggest formatting the linking like [[Wii Remote|Wii Remote and Nunchuk]] rather than repeating the link in quick succession.
  • The Wii Remote being used for many actions including stitching up wounds and using the scalpel, filling the role of the stylus from the Nintendo DS original. - this sentence does not seem to stand on its own. I would either merge it with the previous sentence, or change "being" to "is".

Synopsis

  • I'm unsure what "living cadaver" means - is a cadaver not by definition a dead body?
  • ostracised (and later on, stylised) is written in UK English, while dates are written in the US English format November 19, 2006. I don't have any strong opinions on which variety of English this article should use, but it should be consistent.

Development

  • There's some jumping back-and-forth in the chronology here: First it says when planning began, then after a sentence about how it was the first TC game on the Wii, we jump back to just after the first game's release. Would recommend moving the current first sentence to someplace after the bit about the formation of the development team.
  • Link Megami Tensei, and mention when Maken X was released for context
  • The original stylised anime-inspired look was altered to appear more realistic - Personally, I wouldn't describe the remake's art as "realistic" - and in the source you cite, Hulett agrees ("though they could still probably be considered "anime" in general, it's much more of a mature look"). I would suggest rewording this.
  • It was stated that Atlus considered Second Opinion the "perfect" version of Trauma Center. - I would recommend just removing this bit entirely. It was very much in Atlus's self-interest to call Second Opinion an improvement, so obviously they would say that.
  • Two Super Surgical Operations: Caduceus Neo may be what the tentative title translates to, but the source you cite gives a title in Japanese.
  • The English subtitle references both the game's status as the second Trauma Center and to distinguish it from the original. Other subtitles were suggested including "Relapse", but Second Opinion was picked due to its relation to both the game's added features and the new character. - the meaning of the subtitle is spread out across the two sentences. Would recommend rewriting to keep them grouped together.
  • The setting change from Japan to North America was preserved for Second Opinion. As with Stile's name in the Nintendo DS version, Kimishima's original surname "Weaver" was written by Atlus USA as a pun on the word "Wii". - without knowing that the setting and character names were changed for the English localization (which has not been mentioned until this point), this comes across as confusing.

Reception

  • At a few spots near the end of the section, you have a lot of references in sequence, which impacts readability. I would suggest grouping these under a single footnote, either by wrapping it in an {{efn}} or as is suggested in WP:VG/REC

Images

  • Both images are fine, as are their fair use rationales
  • I realize the cover art shows a lot of characters, but I would suggest at least taking the opportunity to use the caption to visually identify Stiles and Kimishima (who I assume is the character in the center-right?)

References

  • Seems fine - reliable sources, and some self-published sources / interviews for non-controversial statements.

Other

Looking pretty good! I'll put this on hold for the standard seven days; ping me when you have addressed the above or if you have any questions!--AlexandraIDV 02:29, 3 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Alexandra IDV: Did my best with all the above, hope I didn't miss anything. As to the staff, I've added some info and references in the dev section. I also did some edits on the story to correct some gaffs with the narrative; I think I got glazed eyes with that when I was writing it, it's so melodramatic. --ProtoDrake (talk) 09:38, 3 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Thank you, I have confirmed the changes and will promote the article now!--AlexandraIDV 19:07, 3 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
