Planka edit

What about adding a notice about Planka? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.11.222.35 (talk) 15:41, 12 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

we should not do it, Planka is an organisation encouraging people to ride without a ticket, and they sell insurances against fines. Illegal. --BIL (talk) 08:47, 2 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Literally edit

If I'm not mistaken, "literally" means "word by word" in which case Storstockholms Lokaltrafik would be "Local Traffic of Greater Stockholm" or something along those lines. But how literal should we get? - Tournesol (talk) 09:37, 22 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Is there a need of a literal translation in this article at all? An explanation of the company name is better located in the article of the company. --Kildor (talk) 10:15, 23 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Red bus line? edit

The Blue bus line makes mention of the red bus line but there's nothing about it. Someone care to add something in? thanks --12.202.145.138 (talk) 15:29, 9 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Art stations edit

Should some reference not be made in this article about the famous art stations in the Stockholm metro system? This does rather mark the system out as an art/architectural icon. It is one the most impressive things about living here - something I always like to show to visitors. I am not an expert on this though. Is anyone watching this more knowledgeable on the subject? Wikifiveoh (talk) 15:08, 24 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

I have decided to have a go myself on this and have inserted a line to mention this in the Metro section of this article. I inserted a slightly longer and more detailed piece in the main Stockholm Metro article, as remarkably (to me) it wasn't mentioned there either. Wikifiveoh (talk) 13:05, 26 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Removed way outdated information edit

Hi, I took the liberty to remove/update lots of outdated information, see diff. This included removing the section about "upcoming ticket system" in its entirety since most of it was speculation about when the system will be put in use, and an explanation of how the switchover period (which happened a long time ago) was going to work out. There might be some historical value in keeping it once rewritten, so I thought I'd put a note here in case anyone is looking for it. —FireFly~ 17:20, 28 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Undiscussed move from Public transport.. to Transport edit

curprev 16:20, 12 February 2023‎ @Doomsdayer520: talk contribs‎ m 27,298 bytes 0‎ Doomsdayer520 moved page Public transport in Stockholm to Transport in Stockholm without leaving a redirect: as requested at Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests undothank

I conducted the page move as requested by user:Tbf69, and that person's reasoning can be seen at Talk:Public transport in Stockholm. The request seemed reasonable and uncontroversial to me, but I have no objections to any reversals or further steps. Also note that not every move needs to be discussed, per the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 17:06, 12 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Bus 163 edit

Bus 163 isn't and has never been a "blue bus", they don't even have permission to run articulated buses on that line. Also, three of the example pictures in the start of the article are outdated and the running stock isn't used anymore (pendeltåg, bus at Sergel, golden tram) 2A02:AA1:1023:1DE0:3C49:1050:830E:A4BD (talk) 10:04, 31 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
