"Exclusive" Cybertron Levels edit

Should it be stated that the Cybertron Levels aren't exclusive, but that the Cybertron/Collector's Edition contains codes to unlock it?

Specifics edit

1. You can play as one of the two opposing robots and not any human players (flying a jet or driving a tank and shooting down giant robots)? 2. Will it feature transformers not seen in the film?

Transformers The Game Cybertron Edition edit

Added info on the Cybertron Edition/Collector's edition of the video game. The info can be found on Gamestop.com or Ebgames.com websites. -TheGreatSaiyamanX

Merging edit

The other article should be merged w/this one. This is the actual title of the game, the other article's title is pretty vague. I couldn't find it upon my first search, which is why I started this one.Superstooge 15:33, 15 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

What's with the images? edit

I see no need for the images that aren't screenshots. How about you? 67.160.13.149 03:46, 8 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've reverted to a previous version of the article. -- JediLofty User ¦ Talk 07:13, 8 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Images edit

I may try finding screenshots of the game. I will also add some other things to this article.

Fair use rationale for Image:Transformers the game PSP 4.JPG edit

Image:Transformers the game PSP 4.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

PSP Multi edit

I`m not an expert on PSP`s, but under "characters", if "multi" means multiplayer. please change it to reflect this so people like me don`t think it`s hooking the PSP to a console.--Autobotx1010 02:09, 9 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Release dates edit

I saw that the article mentions July 20 as the release date for Europe. But I saw it in Italian stores on June 27, the same as in the US! Blahdvd.com (a UK-based online store) mentions its release date as July 22, though. Is it possible that it was released in July in the UK only? Devil Master 20:41, 21 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Skydive edit

Skydive appears in the Transformers The Game as a non-playable Cybertronian Jet that is based on an F-22 Raptor. He is a secret character.(TougHHead 01:30, 13 October 2007 (UTC))Reply

If you can find a citation, please add it to the article. -- JediLofty User ¦ Talk 12:40, 15 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

He is in Transformers Autobots. Look it up everywhere, including the Transformers Wiki or something.(TougHHead 21:52, 15 October 2007 (UTC))Reply

It's not for me to "Look it up everywhere" - the onus is on the person who adds the information to Wikipedia to provide sources (see WP:CITE) -- JediLofty User ¦ Talk 08:57, 16 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

He is in Transformers Autobots when you buy the game download the thing somewhere in Target. Look in Gamespot and type Transformers Autobots and read all of it.(TougHHead 05:25, 2 November 2007 (UTC))Reply

PC low-res assets edit

Edited out "The PC version of the game has high-resolution and low-resolution assets. If the video card is compatible with pixel shader 3.0, it is possible to choose what assets to use; conversely, the low-resolution assets are automatically selected." . The ability to change graphic options is a standard feature for PC games, and I don't see the reason for it to be noted. You're welcome to disagree with me though, natch. --Unreadablecharacters 03:58, 9 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm the one who added it, maybe I didn' explain it very well. It's not just a change of graphic options (as in, a simple video resolution change). The game contains two compressed files, each of which contains distinct textures and models (which are the "low-res assets" and the "high-res assets"). IMHO, the notable part is how only the pixel shader 3.0-compatible video card can use the high resolution textures and more detailed model; conversely, the less performing video cards cannot use the high-res assets (=it's impossible) and the high-res assets file can even be deleted without any repercussion on the game.
