Talk:Tortilla Wall

Still needed for the article edit

This article needs a non-copyrighted picture of the wall as well as a more detailed map showing the exact location. Also, specific dates for the beginning and ending of construction as well as the authorization for it to be built would be nice.

Updates to Still needed edit

I found pictures that were authorized for use.

The Name "Tortilla Wall" edit

Where does this term come from? I've lived in San Diego for the past 14 years and can't recall hearing that term applied to the border fence. Perhaps someone can give a cite to where that term is used to mean the San Diego border fence. --Eric Bekins 18:56, 7 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Merger proposal edit

I suggest this article be merged with United States-Mexico barrier since it covers the same topic as this, and has additional information. I still haven't heard anyone use the term "Tortilla Wall" to refer to the border fence, and the other article does a better job, I think, of addressing the same issues as this one. --Eric Bekins 22:49, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
