This tower is quite a distance away from Villa San Michele, so I'd prefer to keep the two articles separate. --Morn (talk) 10:19, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
In the end of the Book of San Michele the author indicates the tower as an independent building, the construction of which started in the Dante times, a half monastery, half cloister. He resigned there being almost blind and recalled his happy days in San Michele.
