Multiple issues -- incorrect

User:Sourov0000 tagged the article with {{Multiple issues|{{unreferenced|date=August 2013}}{{orphan|date=August 2013}}}}. This tagging is incorrect.

• Unreferenced - not so, check the references section. If anything, it should say that the article relies on only a single reference.
• Orphan - article is new (should not get tagged so fast), belongs to four highly-used category pages (mitigates orphanship), and is difficult to link elsewhere

Thanks for your removing the No reference Tag. I have added the additional citation Tag now. And if an article is orphan, it should get tagged (actually there is no time period for tagging an article as orphan). Category is a different thing from Orphan. When other articles will link to the article, the orphan tag can be removed. Sourov0000 (talk) 17:28, 21 August 2013 (UTC)

You will note that I added orphan, when I removed your multiple issue tag, so no argument there. However, while there is no rule for orphan, it is usually given common courtesy to not tag brand new articles.

By the way, there's a hole in the reference issue tagging system, which makes the tagging here inappropriate as well. Refimprove states: Don't use this tag for articles that contain no unreferenced material, even if all the material is supported by a single citation. This entire article is verifiable to its single source, so Refimprove does not apply. Refimprove also states that For articles that have no inline citations at all currently, use Template:Unreferenced. But you can't, see below. Overall, none of the templates can be used here!

• Refimprove - as per above
• Onesource - explicitly asks that attempts be made to find other sources before its use, and to use good judgement; Refimprove also states that it is meant to be used where the single source is likely to introduce bias. The source happens to be extremely reliable, other reliable sources are difficult to find, and good judgement might indicate that this is the best we're going to get.
• Unreferenced - does not apply if there is even one source, even if not inlined (but suggests consideration for no footnotes)

Mention of the RMS Titanic disaster

The sentence about the sinking of the RMS Titanic should be removed; the two events are totally unrelated. Titanic statement is a distraction, and certainly doesn't belong in the lede. Bruin2 (talk) 04:47, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
