Did Mokbel escape detention?

A category was recently added to the bottom of the article: 'Escapees from Victoria detention'. I wonder if this may be inaccurate. Mokbel is accused of breaking his bail conditions and fleeing from Australia, but did he actually "escape detention" in Victoria? If not, then the category should be removed. --Lester 04:36, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

No, he didn't escape "detention" because, as you both say, he was freed on bail and just broke his bail conditions when he fled and then failed to appear. I don't like the category "Escapees from Victoria detention" anyway and I'm going to comment on the AWNB section. Sarah 17:09, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

One link in Court Cases not correct.
