Though I can't find anything saying he ever did accept the silver medal for the Olympics, the closest I came was this article: [1], simply stating that he had expressed interest in accepting it. Jutm543 22:33, 2 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I can tell you that he has never expressed interest in excepting his medal, because i am his niece. He should have had the gold but and him and his teammates are not going to except silver when they deserve gold. His meadl and the rest of the teams meadls are in the olympic vault in Russia. And none of his teammates have expressed interest in recieving their's either. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.235.50.105 (talk) 22:55, 11 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Got a link for that? As of 2012 he is described as "run[ning] a ministry program" [2]. Andyvphil (talk) 18:21, 24 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

"Tommy"? edit

I that the name on his birth certificate? I have never seen Burleson referred to as anything but "Tom" before seeing a bluelink to this article. See, e.g., the only reference for this article. Andyvphil (talk) 17:44, 24 April 2015 (UTC) ...which is a dead link. But also see [3] (on a game that might merit mention in this article, btw). Andyvphil (talk) 18:03, 24 April 2015 (UTC) ...on the other hand, this card is signed "Tommy".[4] Andyvphil (talk) 18:08, 24 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
