May work on it edit

Not particularly American edit
This stub implies this is mostly an American style, in two particular veins, but this isn't true. It was very popular in England and well as continental Europe, in various styles, especially mainstream Victorian, and Arts and Crafts. — SMcCandlish Talk⇒ ɖ⊝כ⊙þ Contrib. 11:51, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
