Millionaire? edit
Okay, how did Pac-Man 2600 make Frye a millionaire? I can see with additional income over the years, but from Pac-Man alone? Nope. The math doesn't add up.
Consider that is 12 million were sold, then that'd make him a millionaire. $1.2 million. After taxes, he'd have a lil' over a million. Now, consider that it is believed that 7 million carts were sold, ergo, at his rate, he'd only make $700,000, then lose a bunch to taxes, making it around $550,000 and $600,000. Taking into account other things, sure, he could be a millionaire now (and I'm not deny nor confirming that), but I don't think he can be a millionaire via Pac-Man 2600 due to math. How PacMan made Frye a millionaire is that PacMan actually sold many more than the the popular misconception. Frye's Royalties from PacMan alone in 1982 were ~$850,000, indicating 8.5 million units sold. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.181.155.54 (talk) 17:44, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
Remember, Pac-Man was the pack-in for the 2600 for a number of years after it's release. So the number count has to include that. --Marty Goldberg (talk) 14:36, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
