How exactly are the sections in this list determined? Why is it for example that the 'Early Modern' period ends with Fichte? Why does Lamarck start the 'Modern' period? Why doesn't Kant start the 'Modern' perioud? Why does a philosopher I have never encountered start the 'Early Modern' period as opposed to Descartes?
