I added information on contributions for uniformed service members (please try to use uniformed service rather than military as the PHS and NOAA commissioned corps may also contribute to the TSP). Assets under management?

As of 2021-02-23 I read in the lede, "As of June 30, 2020, TSP has approximately 6.0 million participants (of which approximately 3.3 million are actively participating through payroll deductions), and more than $769.1 billion in assets under management".

I cannot find those numbers in the referenced document. In fact it seems that the reference is not correct, because its title is, "FINANCIAL STATEMENTS December 31, 2018 and 2017": The statement claims to describe TSP as of June 30, 2020, based on financial statements from the end of 2018. The numbers I see are "Total assets at fair value" of $557 billion for 2017-12-31 and $559 billion a year later. That isn't close to $769 billion.

Might someone help find a more accurate reference or modify this so it matches something we can clearly document?

@Amigao: I think you were excessive in deleting all but one of the external references. You cited, WP:ELMIN, where I read, "Normally, only one official link is included. If the subject of the article has more than one official website, then more than one link may be appropriate, under a very few limited circumstances." Most of the links you deleted were to different organizations, providing different perspectives on the topic. If you want to carefully cull duplicates, especially references to archive.org that duplicate more recent links included, I won't object to that.

However, I object to such a massive deletion. I'm reverting it. Thanks for your support of Wikipedia. DavidMCEddy (talk) 22:00, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
