Since Thomas & Betts brand has been abandoned for ABB Installation Products [1], I propose to merge it with ABB page. Telempe (talk) 13:48, 25 October 2018 (UTC)

Oppose merge, on the grounds that a $US3.9 billion company with an independent history of more than 100 years and with a notable discovery is worthy of an independent page, even if it is subsequently taken over. Klbrain (talk) 09:14, 13 October 2019 (UTC)

If we aren’t merging it, then this article needs to be either:

a) changed into the past tense, since the company no longer exists under this name

or

b) renamed to “ABB Installation Products”, and verified whether it is operating as a subsidiary. If it’s been fully subsumed into the parent company, such that it is only a brand name, this also needs to be reflected.
