Don't redirect the page, please do it back. Thiyyar is not Ezhava. Proper references also give in the article. -Rajesh K Odayanchal (talk) 08:37, 4 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

The issue has been discussed for years and it is only hours since the latest in a long line of sockpuppets/meatpuppets was blocked for disruption regarding this. I suggest you raise the matter at Talk:Ezhava. - Sitush (talk) 08:41, 4 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
It is not regarding anything about the community Ezhava, Even Thiyya and Ezhava are different in Malayalam Wikipedia itself. Both are different communities, do needful, change it back, lots of items are there to add the same article. Rajesh K Odayanchal (talk) 08:48, 4 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
No. As far as we on English Wikipedia are concerned, the two are synonyms and we have loads of sources that say so. Malayalam Wikipedia's sourcing standards may differ from ours but if sources there are indeed valid then you need to raise them at Talk:Ezhava because that article is the target for numerous redirected articles related to the Thiyya.
I am concerned that you have appeared here so soon after the recent disruption led by Unniyarcha (talk · contribs) - have you been asked to do so or seen comments on some Thiyya-centric web forum? - Sitush (talk) 08:52, 4 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
Just checked the talk page, lots of people said the same things there, I had given some books for the references, the one of them is the department head of the folklore section in Calcut University and published lots of books related the same. Both castes are coming under OBC, not only these two many communities are coming under the same category, but we can't say all are Ezhava. Huge differences are there in cultural background and mythological background also. Give me a solid reason to join these article together here. Wikipedia is not a competition. -Rajesh K Odayanchal (talk) 09:09, 4 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
I am unwilling to respond further at this talk page. I have already explained that Talk:Ezhava is a much better forum because we have loads of articles that redirect Thiyya/Tiyya/Thiyyar etc to it. - Sitush (talk) 09:22, 4 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
I'm not in a competition, I've been in the English and Malayalam wiki for the past 12 years. If you are not giving value for the references, if this is what you believe to be true, keep it this way itself.-Rajesh K Odayanchal (talk) 09:29, 4 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
