The speedy deletion mark was premature. The ThinCan is extremely relevant in the context of lightweight computing solutions based on the Geode CPU, particularly given how many people see it as the OLPC's most direct competition. Another key point is the manufacturer's contributions to LinuxBIOS being recycled by the OLPC project for their upgrade from the Geode GX to the Geode LX. Q-funk 20:38, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Don't remove the speedy tag, though. What needs to be done is address the statement that the company is not notable - with reliable third party sources. Both the speedy and hangon tag are retained until there is resolution. Ellbeecee 20:40, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

The company itself may be irrelevant, but their product is not, at least not since Linutop chose it as their hardware base and also how some people see the Linutop as the main competitor for the OLPC, hence the reason for creating this article. Q-funk 21:59, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Someone (not me) added the tag about the text reading like an advertisement. While not blatant advertising, it does appear to have a light touch of spin ("historically significant"), although I do commend the great work done by fellow Estonians. -Mardus (talk) 08:08, 18 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
