Gene modulation is epigenetic in nature edit

There was a question on the Science reference desk about this initial definition of gene modulation. I can suggest that one uses the phrase "epigenetic alteration of gene expression". The link explains about epigenetics, and is pretty clear about how it would be different from therapy that involves changing a cell's DNA. --Seejyb 22:06, 25 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
