Japanese title-- Oz no Mahōtsukai, or Ozu no Mahōtsukai?

Shouldn't the Japanese "オズ" be transliterated as "Ozu," rather than "Oz?" See the IMDB entry: "Ozu no mahôtsukai" Rizzleboffin 20:26, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

Fair enough, Joe. Personally, I'd use the "Ozu," because it's an accurate transliteration, and because it's used at IMDB. But as long as there's a redirect from "Ozu," there's no harm in it being "Oz" in an English-language source, I suppose. Rizzleboffin 18:27, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Well, that's true, Joe, but they're right in this case (オズ = Ozu). No matter though, one has to be used, and I can see going with either "Oz" or "Ozu," as long as both are acknowledged. I see no point in getting involved in the "color"/"colour" wars either. I'm more interested in the subject than how it's spelled. --Rizzleboffin 22:57, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

American version?

After inspecting the article closely I managed to add more important info missing .. I hope the other fans world wide appriciate it. American theme song(s)

It says in the article "The Parachute Club composed three other opening theme songs for the video/DVD release of the series in movie format." I'm 90% certain that I can remember the actual show changing opening songs with each of the different arcs. Are we certain that the extra songs were recorded for the cut down movie-length versions? Character Images?

Is it worth adding images (screenshots captured from the DVDs) of the rest of the characters in the 'Characters' section? I've added pictures of the main 4, but wasn't sure about whether to do the rest. Tocki 04:27, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Year?

The Anime Encyclopedia: A Guide to Japanese Animation Since 1917 claims the TV series was first broadcast outside of Japan in 1984, then shown in Japan in 1986 (first on NHK then on TV Tokyo).
