EDIT REQUEST 22/12/2013

He wasn't referred to has Kane the Undertaker at Survivor Series as the page says. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.190.225.107 (talk) 03:44, 23 November 2013 (UTC)

EDIT REQUEST 26/10/2013

Inaccurate information that appears at least twice. In the American Bad Ass section. It states during Taker's feud with DDP when DDP was stalking his wife Sara (In reality Mark and Sara got married at the height of this feud - This feud happened in 2001). However further down in his Personal Life section it states that Mark and Sara got married in July 2000. The inVasion storyline and the feud between Taker and DDP started on DDP's WWF Debut on June 18th 2001. Which is true? the one that is wrong needs removing cheers 151.229.130.175 (talk) 16:23, 26 October 2013 (UTC)

EDIT REQUEST 4/28/2013

Please add on the Other Media section that a poster with the Undertaker image appears several times on the background on the 2012 anime Kokoro Connect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.141.115.221 (talk) 03:43, 29 April 2013 (UTC)

EDIT REQUEST 4/2/2012

The article states that the Undertaker was introduced as "Kane the Undertaker" at the Survivor Series 1990. This is incorrect. Shows were taped with Howard Finkel introducing him as "Kane the Undertaker" as recently as 3 days before his Survivor Series Debut (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4TdzW_PkzM), but at his official debut at the 1990 Survivor series, he was simply introduced by Ted Dibiase as "The Undertaker". Source: (http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x69xiq_the-undertaker-makes-his-debut-surv_sport) at about 3:49. No mention of the word "Kane" was used by Ted Dibiase, the opening graphic with his name, or Gorilla/Roddy Piper during the match. Kane had already been dropped. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.232.67.146 (talk) 22:49, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

My Edits to Introductory Paragraphs

Hey, guys! I don't usually do this, but, seeing as this page was Semi-Protected, clearly because some editors disagreed with some content in some way, I figured that I should share what I did a few minutes ago. This article is fantastic, so kudos to those of you who made it that way. However, I noticed some grammatical issues, word flow issues, etc. in the introductory, paragraphs (there was one run-on sentence that was so long that, quite frankly, I have never seen anything like it on Wikipedia hah!). I chose to go ahead and be Bold and make some changes. Some might say I got carried away. I don't think so. I feel that everything I did was an improvement, but that's why I'm posting here, just to make sure. Please feel free to look at my edits to the page and let me know if you see anything that seems inappropriate. And please do not speak on his family and personal life. Thanks!

signature moves

I was looking at the signature moves and I saw it didn't have "Snake Eyes", so I just thought I'd point that out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.5.163.44 (talk) 04:40, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

Can someone pull up a reliable source/find out if that move has a technical name, please? I've seen it being used several times, and I know it's a signature move, but I can't find a good source.117.194.225.45 (talk) 11:00, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

Personal Life

The undertaker is currently in a relationship with WWE Diva, Michelle Mccool.http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Is_undertaker_dating_michelle_mccool

That's not a reliable source. A reliable source is required for all personal information on biopgraphies of living people. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 17:27, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
Well, this is pretty much confirmed news but am not sure where to find a written source for it which Wiki considers reliable. You can pull up interview videos of Torrie Wilson and Dawn Marie on certain sites, who confirm that Undertaker is dating McCool. You can also pull up a video of Undertaker and McCool taken at the airport by some journalist where they were both together, and the reported asker her about how her relationship with Taker was going on (in front of him), and she said "fine". Although, Taker did not directly talk to the reporter because he stays away from Paparazzi and stuff. I'm a moderator of the # 1 Undertaker fan-site on the Net, PhenomForever.com and I know my Undertaker facts. But anyway, its their personal life. Why bother?Mayankeagle (talk) 09:05, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
This information is VERY well-known. However, a site that is already referenced confirms this: http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/profiles/u/undertaker.html

That site ALSO confirms he was born in 1962, not 1965, and that he is divorced with Sara, which is why you don't see the tattoo anymore. Both of these need to be changed.TheNextSocrates (talk) 23:07, 5 June 2010 (UTC)

His name is mis-spelled. The common use of the name is Callaway (two Ls) but his family name is the Calloway variation with an O. In fact Calaway isn't even a recognized name anywhere. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.36.237.206 (talk) 03:55, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

Dragon Sleeper

For a bit in 2002 he used the Dragon Sleeper as a finisher. So why isn't it listed--68.81.176.14 (talk) 02:27, 14 May 2010 (UTC)

Because there is no source to verify that information. If you provide a reliable source, that move can be added. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 12:57, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
This move was mentioned earlier but somebody has deliberately removed it. Its strange how the people editing the Undertaker page don't know about his finishers. Undertaker used the Dragon Sleeper in 2002 and he called it "Takin' Care of Business". He even used it in 2 of his Wrestlemania matches, one on Arn Anderson (while fighting against Ric Flair), and another on Randy Orton. Its also mentioned on WWE.com here http://www.wwe.com/superstars/smackdown/undertaker/wrestlemanialegacy/wrestlemania21/matchrecap/ (against Orton), and in the match description for his match with Flair on Wikipedia itself at Wrestlemania_XVIII#Event. Hell, it is even listed on his IMDB page at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0130587/bio. I'm going ahead and adding this to his signature moves, let me know if you guys still find this unreliable. It would be more heplful if you'd actually seen him wrestle. Mayankeagle (talk) 09:26, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

Kane to Cain

his name was spelled bibically when he was Cain The Undertaker it is a common mistake that he and kane's names were spelled alike.kane was always supposed to come into the picture but his name was going to be able(or however you spell it) and paul bearer was pretty much going to be god —Preceding unsigned comment added by Freshman5000 (talkcontribs) 21:06, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

It should be Kane because that's what it says on the website that is listed as a source. Until you find a source that says Cain then it should remain as Kane. I changed it back. TheGary (talk) 11:50, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

Gimmick/ Taunts

If we look at Kane's Wiki page, it has a list of Taunts at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glen_jacobs#In_wrestling

I think this is important for wrestlers who are known a lot by their gimmick, such as the Undertaker and Kane, because their gimmick has been a part of what catapulted them to their legendary status and that is how people relate to them. Several of Kane's signature taunts are taken from Undertaker, and I'm surprised that none of Undertaker's taunts are listed here. Since they are inherent to his character, I think that the following signature taunts should be listed on the Undertaker's page as well:

  • Slashing his own throat with the right hand, signalling for a tombstone piledriver (signifying that the end is near for the opponent)
  • Kneeling after winning a match to signify his dominance in the ring (1990-'96: also raised his hand towards Paul Bearer and the urn while kneeling; 2004-onwards: takes his tongue out in demonic fashion and looks towards his opponent or just the crowd)
  • Rolling his eye-balls above to intimidate opponents (usually done after removing his hat during his entrance)
  • Raising his right-hand after victory (2000-onwards: adopted during the American Bad Ass gimmick)

Signature Phrases:

  • Rest in Peace (1990-'99; 2004-onwards)
  • This is My Yard (2000-2003: during the American Bad Ass and Big Evil persona)
  • I'll Make you Famous (2000-2003: during the American Bad Ass and Big Evil persona)

I'm sure these are things for which we don't even need a source to list as anyone who has seen the Undertaker knows this is correct. Let me know if you guys have issues with this, otherwise I'll add them. Recently there have been a lot of useless edits to the Undertaker page and so I wanted to check everybody's opinion before putting it there because this is genuine information related to his gimmick which should be there if it is there on the pages of other wrestlers. Mayankeagle (talk) 09:14, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

Of course this needs a source. This page isn't only for people who already know these things. If I was just learning about the guy, I'd want to be able to verify things I read. I would have no idea if they were true or not, since anyone can slip anything in here. See the core Wikipedia policy on verifiability. InedibleHulk (talk) 17:14, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

Michelle McCool

I hate to this, I've completely denied they have an relationship for about two years but lately i've been speaking to an former WWE photographer and writer and they've confirmed he divorced Sara in 2007 and is dating Michelle. Torrie Wilson also confirmed this in an interview. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.104.188.174 (talk) 15:44, 12 June 2010 (UTC)

Whatever else is true, the Undertaker / Michelle McCool relationship is not a storyline. It's never been acknowledged by WWE directly or on WWE programming. EvWill (talk) 20:34, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

You don't need to speak to a WWE photographer to know this. There are pictures of the 2 all over the Internet. Moreover, look up Torrie Wilson's or Dawn Marie's shoot interview on Youtube and they confirmed it that Undertaker and Michelle McCool are dating. There is also a video at an airport terminal where they are together, waiting for their baggage to come. The reporter asks Michelle how her relationship with Undertaker is going, and she says its going on fine (right in front of Undertaker). Despite this, some geniuses here think that this is not reliable news and that it should not be mentioned in his personal life section. Not that it was any of our business back then, but now it should be reported because they got married last weekend as confirmed by various wrestling websites - see the new topic below which I started to discuss this. Mayankeagle (talk) 09:17, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
LoL at whoever said its a storyline. In this persona, Taker doesn't deal with ladies. And they're married in real life now. Mayankeagle (talk) 12:41, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Vegetative State

Might not be worth adding to the discussion, but I edited the opening paragraph of this article to note that Mr. Calaway is currently sidelined due to an injury, and that WWE programming explains his abscence as being found in a vegetative state. Do not want people confused into thinking he truly is in a vegetative state. Pingsteal (talk) 01:57, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

Marriage with Michelle McCool

I have added news about Undertaker's marriage with Michelle McCool, which was confirmed by the Houston Press in their blogs. I have provided several links that I found on the Internet about this piece of news. If all of them are wrong and unreliable, please post here and let me know. I assume the information is correct because it was reported under Wrestling News World Premium News, and also by the Houston Press blogs itself, hence I have added this information.

Below is the information that I'm adding to the Personal Life section - let me know if it needs to be changed. Don't revert/ delete it without reason, but please discuss it here first:

On the weekend of 26th June, 2010, the Houston Press reported in its blogs that Calaway and Michelle McCool got married in Houston (http://blogs.houstonpress.com/hairballs/2010/06/the_undertaker_gets_married_in.php). The news was also confirmed by several other wrestling news websites (http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/wnw-premium/backstage-news/high-profile-wwe-couple-married.php, http://www.wrestling-radio.com/feed_news-16028-BREAKING_NEWS%3A_The_Undertaker_and_Michelle_McCool_.php, http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/article/report-two-wwe-stars-get-married-this-past-weekend-105781). Few close friends such as Torrie Wilson, Lisa Marie Varon and Sharmell were present at the occassion, which was a private ceremony (http://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2010/0628/529600/the-undertaker/index.shtml, http://www.prowrestling.net/artman/publish/WWE/article10012716.shtml). Since the WWE preserves the Undertaker's character, it wasn't formally announced by the company. However, while making commentary on Smackdown, Matt Striker had made a suspicious remark about people getting married in June and then wished anyone getting married good luck. This was followed by Michelle's friend, Layla, adding her own words of good luck (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/413028-wwe-diva-weds-deadman-over-the-weekend). Mayankeagle (talk) 09:25, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

As expected, somebody removed this information. BettyBooLove, when you reverted this information, did you read the summary that I had written? I had asked to post on this section to discuss it before removing because the news I had posted was correct and sourced. Not only have you removed that information, you have also not mentioned why you are doing that - there is nothing written in your summary comments as to why you reverted back my changes. If you can't contribute, don't remove correct information. Thanks to Shrilldrella to adding the information back. Mayankeagle (talk) 20:03, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

The height and weight that are in the article are current I have checked the source that is provided and they are in fact current ones.--Steam Iron 08:11, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
His height was never billed as 6'11, he was always billed as 6'10.5. His weight was billed as 320 pounds when he debuted, later it was 328 throughout the 1990s, then 305 in the mid 2000s and now it is 299 (since 2007 after his return at Unforgiven, I believe). Get your facts and history right before you challenge the facts posted on Wikipedia and call it wrong. Somebody called Shanewatson136 has kept on editing this article and mentioning his height as 7'0 and weight as 310, which is wrong and unsourced. I have corrected it as per his WWE profile, which clearly says 6'10.5 and 299 lbs. Don't change this information. Mayankeagle (talk) 08:43, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
Damn this user Shanewatson136 - he keeps constantly editing the height and weight, putting any damn value that he wants. He has put 300 lbs, 310 lbs, etc for weight on his own in different edits and the height as 7'0 or 6'11 in different edits. Is there a way this user can be blocked from editing? Kane winning the wch title

what does that have to do with the undertaker —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.244.253.52 (talk) 21:50, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

Undertaker was scheduled to win the title at Fatal Four Way but since he was sidelined due to injury, the title was given to Rey Mysterio (who was due for a vacation, and the title was given to him as a means of ensuring he delays his vacation), and later to Kane (when it was time for Undertaker to return and Mysterio to go for his vacation) so that the WWE can then have an Undertaker/ Kane feud over the title with the Undertaker ultimately winning it as planned. Mayankeagle (talk) 05:42, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

The Undertaker younger than Yokozuna and The Rock when he won his first WWE Title?

I've just been doing some research and based on the date of births on Wikipedia and the dates each won their first WWF Titles, The Undertaker seems to have been younger than both Yokizuna and The Rock when he won his first WWF Title back in 1991. Now I always thought The Rock was the youngest when he won his, and the same with Yoko, and I'm the sure the WWE stated that at points in their reigns, especially with The Rock. Anyways if these are indeed true, then The Undertaker would have been the youngest champion until Lesnar won the title in 2002. And my point for this post is shouldn't a significant event like this, if accurate of course, be included somewhere in Taker's article? Just a thought... 78.147.78.232 (talk) 19:05, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

These records are very easily sidelined and broken, for example, Brock Lesnar won it at a younger age (25) and Randy Orton won it at am even younger age (24). In the case of the Undertaker, it was not mentioned explicitly by the WWE ever because he was supposed to be a dead-man, and you can't associate age with somebody who's treated as "dead" or inhuman. Cain/Kane the Undertaker and Sources

You cannot provide the name "Cain the Undertaker" for Mark Callaway and link to a source page which clearly states his name as "Kane the Undertaker". If whoever is making this change believes that his name was "Cain the Undertaker" then provide a source for it. It looks foolish when you list the name as "Cain" and have a source that shows otherwise. I've changed it back to "Kane" again because that's what the source page being used states. After all, that is the purpose of sources. TheGary (talk) 20:44, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

Query

Why is it relevant to note in the WM Streak box that Kane wore a mask on their first match, but didn't in their second. It is unimportant fancruft. Undertaker faced Shawn Michaels twice at WM. Shall we note that HBK wore a different costume in his second WM match with Undertaker, than he did in his first? Pyrrhus16 19:39, 28 September 2010 (UTC)

Because it was not just about costume. Its like 2 separate minor gimmicks for Kane when he wore the mask and when he didn't. The unmasking of Kane was a major event in itself at Summerslam 2000, hence it is significant. Mayankeagle (talk) 10:30, 7 December 2010 (UTC)

Frequent unsourced edits

Folks - I am as big an Undertaker fan out there as can be, but facts are facts. Please don't add unsourced facts to this page. One of the accomplishments said that he was ranked # 1 by PWI in 2007 and I verified the PWI list - this is wrong. Another accomplishment said that he was ranked # 1 by WWE in their list of greatest superstars and this too is wrong, because the list had Shawn Michaels at # 1 and The Undertaker at # 2. I have removed both these points from the article. Keep it clean. He's still the Phenom. Mayankeagle (talk) 10:29, 7 December 2010 (UTC)

Again some sorry-a** has edited the article and mentioned that he was ranked as the # 1 "proffesional" (wrong spelling) wrestler by the WWE. This is wrong. I have corrected this since he was ranked at # 2 by the WWE in their list of Top 50 Superstars, along with references. He remains the greatest in the eyes of his fans like us but please don't change information incorrectly. Mayankeagle (talk) 13:40, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

Mirror ranking of The Undertaker's streak

"The Mirror ranked The Undertaker's Wrestlemania undefeated streak as the 7th greatest winning streak in sports, and it was the only ranked streak from professional wrestling.[1]"

I've removed that from the accomplishments section of this article a few times and an IP keeps re-adding it without explanation. I'm curious about the reasoning for its inclusion. After all, it's not an award, or an accomplishment. It's just a ranking in a random column from a publication that rarely covers wrestling. If that is included, why not the rankings of The Undertaker and his matches from the many other publications out there? Why not mention that 'Taker's match with Flair at WM18 was ranked the 23rd greatest wrestlemania match by IGN? [1] Why not also include fan-made lists? -- Scorpion0422 22:50, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

Good point. Not sure which IP keeps putting it back, but the Mirror is definitely a much better known journal than several others like the IGN. Also, the ranking is for the entire streak as a sports "record" and is different from ranking of single matches. The IGN rankings of matches will be rankings "within" wrestling matches, but if the streak overall is ranked as a sports-record "amongst other sports" by a big journal, it is surely worth mentioning. American Bad Ass Section

JunoPPCLI (talk) 18:11, 21 May 2011 (UTC) I removed the reference to him being the WCW Tag Team Champion, as on the offical wwe site he is cited as winning the "World Tag Team Championship" which is a WWE Belt, not a wcw belt.

The link I was provided lists them as WWE Tag Team Champions, NOT WCW Tag Team Champions. If the historical record does not speciffically state they won the WCW Tag Team title, then you cannot claim as such as even from the link you sent me "http://www.wwe.com/inside/titlehistory/worldtagteam"

Here in the article for Kane and Undertaker "Undertaker somehow managed to knock out Edge and deliver a Last Ride to Christian for the win, though, giving the Brothers of Destruction the World Tag Team Championship and a shot against Stone Cold and Triple H at Backlash."

Hence the Wording "Word Tag Team Championship" This is a WWE Belt, not a WCW belt.

It's irellevant if the WCW belt was amalgomated into the WWE belt, as unless they won the "WCW Tag Team Championship" speciffically, and were credited as that, it cannot be used and I cannot find any evidence that states they speciffical won the WCW version of the belt, and not the WWE Version. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JunoPPCLI (talkcontribs) 18:11, 21 May 2011 (UTC)

  • You are wrong. The belt was carried over into WWF and although it's name was changed to the WCW Tag Team Champions, its legacy continued before it was deactivated in November, 2001. The champions at the time WCW was purchased were Chuck Palumbo and Sean O'Haire. When Undertaker and Kane won the belts, it was from Palumbo and O'Haire and it was simply renamed the WCW Tag Team Championship. It wasn't until three months later that it was deactivated, not unified. Whether you feel that the four title reigns held during the belt's time in WWF shouldn't apply to its prior history or not is what's irrelevant. That's what it was called and that's what the article reflects. The video of them winning the WCW Tag Championship can be seen here [2]. NJZombie (talk) 20:54, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

Arrival in WCW/ Time in Skyscrapers - why did it get deleted? Again?

A few days ago I input referenced information about Callaway's arrival into WCW and enrollment into the Skyscrapers tag team which got deleted by user Daria Montella at 12:09 18 June 2011.

The article as I previously found it read as this: "Calaway won the WCWA Texas Heavyweight Championship on October 5, 1989 when Eric Embry forfeited the title...(paragraph break)As he went into singles competition, Calaway took on the guidance of Paul E. Dangerously and defeated Johnny Ace at Capital Combat" which makes no sense as (1) it does not mention Callaway moving from USWA/World Class (WCWA) to World Championship Wrestling - it sounds like his move from one promotion to another was so unremarkable as to be unnoticable (2) it talks of Calaway moving into singles competiton but does not even state that he had been in a tag team, never mind what tag team - it effectively says that he moved from holding a singles title to being a singles wrestler, which is patently stupid.

I looked at early edits of this article and found that there certainly was information about the Skyscrapers on early edits of the page but this had been deleted at some point. (This page has a long edit history so I haven't been able to determine when this happened.)

So, on 11:40, 17 June 2011 using IP 195.92.109.20 I put some information in about Calaway coming to WCW, joining the Skyscrapers and what they got up to. The same information appears on the Skyscrapers team's own article with the same sources and nobody has a problem with it on there.

However on 12:09 18 June 2011 user Daria Montella deleted all this off the article. He/she gave no explanation for this.

I want to know why this verifiable and referenced information got deleted without explanation. Can anyone explain???

So I am re-inputting this information and leaving this note here. I am also leaving a note on Daria Montella's User Talk page inviting him/her here to explain him/herself. 95.151.209.221 (talk) 19:24, 19 June 2011 (UTC)

After Wrestlemania 27

The Undertaker has not been seen since wrestlemania but does anyone know why (WorldSeriesOfPoker500 (talk) 17:56, 22 September 2011 (UTC))

Wikipedia isn't a forum, this isn't the place to ask. But to keep it short: wrestling is an intense occupation which Undertaker has been doing for well over 20 years, he has a lot of injuries and can only wrestle a limited amount each year. He's heeling up and taking time off, but he hasn't retired. Tony2Times (talk) 20:42, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
Okay thanks i thought he had retired. (WorldSeriesOfPoker500 (talk) 18:20, 12 October 2011 (UTC))

D.O.B.

Just thought I'd ask for clarification on the D.O.B. listed on the page. The citation takes you to a web page that has two different date's listed on it. Just wondering how people worked out that the one on the page now is the right one?

The list of Texas births has two Mark Callaways, but one's middle name is Dwayne while the other is William. Other sources confirm Undertaker's middle name to be William, ergo he has the March birthday. Tony2Times (talk) 19:47, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

Would it be fair to describe The Undertaker as semi-retired, given that he only works once a year at Wrestlemania? 98.220.135.184 (talk) 22:08, 9 July 2012 (UTC)

Considering he's still considered by WWE as an active competitor, I'd say no. The issue of any form of retirement has never been mentioned by either the WWE or the Undertaker. So considering that it's a contestable subject with no reliable source to back up the statement, it wouldn't stand within the article. NJZombie (talk) 22:26, 9 July 2012 (UTC)

That is the question. Some say Tombstone Piledriver, others say Tombstone. — Preceding unsigned comment added by The Diggertaker (talkcontribs) 23:31, 18 March 2013 (UTC)

I wouldn't say there's a question there at all, at least not one that can actually be debated.

The move is called the Tombstone Piledriver, as it is a specific type of piledriver. It's often shortened to Tombstone simply for convenience. It's the same logic as how his ring name is The Undertaker yet many refer to him as simply 'Taker. ArnoldJudasRimmer (talk) 03:55, 6 November 2013 (UTC)

Citation source for claims that he is related to Brian Lee

The source for the part in his personal section, that claims that he is related to Brian Lee and a number of other people doesn't appear to be a very credible one. The source is just a wrestling fanatics site that itself does not provide any real sourcing of it's information. It only flagged up in my head due to the often spoken about issues between 'taker and Brian Lee. Where it was commented in various shoot interviews by former WWF wrestlers of the 90's that Undertaker's first wife Jodi had an affair with Brian Lee, who was supposedly one of his best friends, causing the divorce. Not that any of this info is relevant, I just don't find the source very credible 93.152.42.138 (talk) 16:15, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

Cagematch.net is not the only site which says that Brian Lee is Calaway's cousin, but it is the most reliable. I think Cagematch is better than Online World of Wrestling, because it has more detailed information.--186.207.24.187 (talk) 17:16, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

But these sources themselves do not have a valid source for their own information. That's the issue I was having. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.152.42.138 (talk) 15:34, 26 March 2013 (UTC)

Gimmick

I suggest a topic about Taker gimmick. Pages like Bryan Danielson, CM Punk and Jake Roberts have a topic about it. And information about the Taker gimmick, as taunts, pyrotechnics and behavior are very rich.--186.207.24.187 (talk) 17:16, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

I kind of agree, though I don't have the confidence to do it myself. The mythos behind the character, at least since Kane's introduction, is far deeper than anything WWE has ever concocted (the character's intricate backstory, going all the way back to his childhood, could arguably encompass an entire page of its own). There were plans a while back for an origin film set in the Old West, but it seems to have been canceled, put in hiatus, or development hell. I personally think it'd be an awesome premise for a Red Dead game. Spartan198 (talk) 08:44, 19 April 2013 (UTC)

Currently his date of birth is listed as December 18th 1951. Anybody who knows The Undertaker knows he isn't 61 years old. The accompanying source actually brings up a Mark William Calaway born in 1965. Additionally, somebody higher up this talk page claims that he was born in 1962. I can't claim to know his exact age or date of birth, but 1951 is clearly not accurate information. I would request that his date of birth be changed to March 24th 1965, and his age to 48, to coincide with the source provided. --ArnoldJudasRimmer (talk) 04:06, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
