More about merging edit

There is another Wikipedia article, 20th Century with Mike Wallace, that should be merged with this one or deleted completely. They are both about the exact same program (and not about the Cronkite version). AlbertSM (talk) 18:50, 23 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

I performed the merge it was a rather obvious and needed merge. Nothing was referenced in the other article and everything of substance was already covered here. 71.1.235.109 (talk) 16:45, 24 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

This show, "20th Century with Mike Wallace" is completely different from "The Twentieth Century." The two both have similar names and formats but aired a quarter-century apart and thus deserve to each have their own page.

So now the 1990s-2000s Mike Wallace show has its own page, albeit just a stub. I could not find a complete episode log; even the Library of Congress Copyright Office has only 58 shows listed out of 163, if that's the correct number. The TV Guide list seems fairly complete, but it doesn't have air dates for most episodes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.108.16.241 (talk) 00:54, 9 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

distinction between Walter Cronkite and Mike Wallace shows edit

The "about" line states:

Both The Twentieth Century ("the Walter Cronkite TV show") and 20th Century with Mike Wallace are "documentary TV programs", so distinguishing between them by stating that one of them is a documentary is both misleading and not helpful. Fabrickator (talk) 17:28, 12 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Start date edit

The show started in the early 1950s. I was watching it with Cronkite 1954-55. It was on Sunday evenings before the Ed Sullivan show. For example one about Senator McCarthy. IMDB lists its dates only according to what episodes users have contributed. George Slivinsky (talk) 05:40, 2 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
