Book s Movie edit

This description of the novel is apparently written by someone who saw the movie "Lifeforce". In the book, no one is turned into a zombie, and the aliens don't send the energy back to their ship. The whole story takes place with only a few people aware of the main events, and those details come out only many years later, when Commander Carlsen is an old man.

If I get time, I'll edit the article to make it more accurate and a bit more complete.

I removed it as it was obviously incorrect. 70.186.172.214 (talk) 14:38, 18 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Lack of Originality edit

The story appears to derive from C. L. Moore' s short story Shambleau, published in Weird Tales in 1933. 216.99.198.58 (talk) 09:23, 29 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Also, the name of the vampire race (Ubbo-Sathla) is stolen from Clark Ashton Smith. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.154.77.22 (talk) 05:31, 14 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

No cite edit

Un-cited, apparent speculation, moving to Talk:

'A central theme, of a mothership hiding in the tail of a comet to which souls would ascend upon death, was apparently adopted as part of the mythology of the Heaven's Gate cult mass suicide."

If desired to return this to article text, please add a good cite. Thanks. -- 201.17.36.246 (talk) 04:15, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
