This is wrong. edit
"Kristian and Marit manage to rescue Julia before the window breaks"
The window breaks as Kristian is trying to reach Julia. As it does so he jumps and catches her arm. Marit climbs down to where they are and he swings Julia over to her but Julia won't let go of Kristian's shirt for a few moments.
