Genre

The genre on this article has been changed from other genres to just Experimental Hip Hop many times. I know that your view on the genre is subjective but I definitely think that 'Rapcore' and electro-industrial apply to the album, especially considering On GP and a number of other tracks sounding very rapcore. I really don't think this really fits as rapcore or rap rock. While there is a non-trivial rock influence on several tracks (enough, I think, to warrant a mention in the infobox as soon as we get one or more sources), the way those tracks are structured is not like that of "rap rock". 201.190.31.4 (talk) 06:44, 25 March 2015 (UTC)

Punk Rock

The Powers That B really isn't a punk album just because spin said so. If i wrote for spin and called this a baroque pop album, would we put it on here? This album doesn't have the common stripped down punk lineup (bassist, guitarist, drummer, singer). It doesn't have the speed or raw simplicity of punk. Wikipedia can be stupid like that at times, taking one source's claim for genre as absolute truth and taking no editiorial consideration, as apparently that'd be being biased. Even if it results in certain pop songs that happen to have a guitar in them getting branded as "rock n' roll" just because a critic mentioned those words, even if they were obviously more allusive than a strict classification. 201.190.18.190 (talk) 18:42, 19 February 2016 (UTC)
