End of the album edit

There're a few seconds of hasty speech at the end of "Build" as the song fades out, buried too deep in the mix to be clearly heard. I've never even been sure whether it's forward- or back-masked. But it's there, as a sort of audio run-out-grrove message. Asat (talk) 23:05, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Controversy edit

The introductory remark about tabloid controversy deserves sourcing and expansion. Given the Housemartins' northern English working class origins and the brashly political nature of their lyrics this claim seems quite credible, but it's hard to find textual references and difficult to evaluate without background knowledge of Thatcherism and other social context. I don't have the cultural knowledge or reading material to attempt the task, but it would be great if the article coul dbe fleshed out to examine the critical and social reception of the music.
