Argentine or American edit

In the book Martin is an Argentine stundent, but I am 99% sure that in the film he is American. Jane-21 14:56, 29 March 2007.

Jane, I'll check with members of the extra cast and get back to you. Ed edwpat

I checked. The extras said they expected Elijah to have an accent, but he is in fact an American in the film - so Jan, it's confirmed right from the set. edwpat

Thanks Ed!Jane-2114:04, 30 March 2007.
Pitiful! I guess Elijah would have too much work doing an Argentine Spanish accent... --Mariano(t/c) 17:11, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
It's a good thing it doesn't really matter, because it would detract from his performance (Latin accet? German accent? Who would know?). I think after 40 films, Elijah Wood can withstand the test of a script and survive misguided pity. Edwpat. Come see him on the set signing the broadside for my novel. http://www.dancaster.com/popgift.htm

Spoilers/Guesswork in the Cast Listing edit

Is it acceptable to be writing spoilers in the cast notes? For example "presumably token red herring" and "becomes the first victim". For all other films I have seen on Wikipedia they include a separate plot section, so if people do not wish to know the plot and thus have the film spoiled they can stick to the rest of the article. Also, I would have thought the word 'presumably' is a no-go on Wikipedia which is supposed to support factual information. Machento (talk) 12:47, 18 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wittgenstein edit

All that stuff about Wittgenstein at the beginning of this film is about as accuate as a WMD dossier. Not only did he not write the Tractatus under fire, as John Hurt's character alleges, he didn't ask questions like "Can we know the truth?" Furthermore, he didn't use mathematical logic in steps to show there is no truth outside of mathematics (in fact, there is little mathematical logic in the entire book, and what logic there is, is pretty basic). These things were of no interest at all to him. Rosa Lichtenstein (talk) 20:47, 13 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
