Period of Time

Just watched the film, and saw this line in the article: "Marc arrives at an unspecified village within China. Marc stays at a hotel there for a period of time, becoming known with the locals, and regrows his signature moustache." That is NOT how i saw (it's definently open to interpretation). As we cut from Marc in the village the first night to the next scene, where he has his moustache, I did not take that as a passage of time, but a shifting of reality. i.e. To him, no time passed (there wasn't a period of time, it was literally the next day), but reality had changed back to where he had never shaved. Thus, unless there's word from the director/producer/writer/etc. saying that there was a period of time (and there very well might be, and no, i don't mean from speculation by some of the production team but actual word on the intent), i'd love for this to be changed to something open to interpretation. (I know, I could edit it myself, but i was curious if there WAS word from the production team on this topic that anyone had heard of) --Quadraxis (talk) 06:04, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
