I'm glad someone created this article, because there's something that's been driving me crazy. Am I the only one that remembers seeing this show before, a couple years ago?? The year 2004 maybe, either in the evening or really late at night? I found it weird how they're promoting it as new, because I swear I've seen it before. Ouuplas 01:51, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- I've now found a source which confirms that Global aired a pilot back in January of 2005, but then sent the thing back for focus-grouping and retooling. And IMDb lists it as a 2004 production. Which meshes with my memory somewhat, too; although I never saw the pilot I know I'd read about its existence at least a year ago, and had wondered whatever happened to it before it finally showed up with a launch announcement. - I'm one of the editors/contributors for the show on TV.com and both of you are fairly correct. The pilot aired on Global in Decemeber 2004 and Newfoundland's NTV in January 2005 and that was it until retooling was done and the "new" The Jane Show appeared in 2006. Swiss Chalet commercial from some years back? edit
Anyone recall seeing Teresa in a Swiss Chalet commercial from probably 8-9 years ago? Chicken'n'stuffing'n'pie, oh my! It was an ad for Swiss Chalet's fall feast or whatever it was called. For some reason that ad stuck in my head and I'm sure the 'main character' in it was played by Teresa. Can anyone confirm this?
