Original Research in Themes Section edit
The whole Themes section is pure academic fluff. "The novel shows a masterly grip of jurisprudence." "A master theme...was so subtly hinted at that Macdonald had to point it out himself." "Macdonald's habit of importing cultural references that had been a feature of his writing since Blue City." Do any of the cited sources justify such pontification?
