This tree is one of the oldest and largest specimens in the UK, will try to find more substantial references to support this shortly. Mrjohncummings (talk) 22:41, 19 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Suggestion: Could this be exopanded to be the article for St James' Square? Victuallers (talk) 08:22, 24 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Good idea. With the greatest respect to fellow Monmouthpedia editors, I think we have probably reached the limit of what is notable in Monmouth in terms of individual features - buildings, etc. In my view it would be much better to focus on those streets, squares etc. which have not yet been covered, and which could each have a substantial article. An article on St James' Square would fit the bill admirably. Ghmyrtle (talk) 09:26, 24 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • I thought that the tree was notable and, with two more months of Wikipedia experience and some old-fashioned tenacity, that I would be able to find good sources. I was successful and able to substantially expand my article. Anne (talk) 06:26, 20 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
