Un-titled edit

I rewrote the Plot section to (a) make more sense, and (b) have some more plot details. As such, I am removing the stub warning. --Dvandersluis 19:02, 23 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Were-Car parts edit

What was the were car built out of? I'm having trouble remembering the parts, All I remember is the steering wheel from Adolph Hitler's car, and that might not even be right! Stormscape 06:22, 1 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

the steering wheel from hitlers staff car, the left turn signal from charlie manson's VW bus, and the windshield wipers from "that car that played knightrider"--Manwithbrisk (talk) 04:54, 8 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Don't forget the engine. It wasn't mentioned at first, but apparently is the "most evil propulsion system ever conceived".--Cyberman TM (talk) 15:55, 21 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Binary edit

Wouldnt the number of the beast in binary be something like 011001100110 instead of 1010011010 which i'm pretty sure is not even a complete binary code? -EG

The Castle and Town edit

If you look when Bender runs out after seing the binary code, he is chased by an envelope with wings as a refrence to e-mail and the Windows 98 logo. And the name of the town is Thermostadt which is similar to Thermostat which changes the temperature of a room. When Bender walks into the town asking if someone would take them to the castle, many preformed the Father, Son and Holy Ghost gesture and said there was a curse upon them. This typical village resembles a Renaissance village or manor, where many are Christian or Roman Catholic and the myth of vampires is brought up for the croos or Christ-like symbols were always said to ward off vampires as well as evil demonic spirits. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.130.138.131 (talkcontribs)

I thought the "envelope with wings" was a flying toaster from the After Dark screensaver? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.185.204.146 (talk) 10:13, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

1958 Plymouth Fury edit

where are you getting this fact, i own the dvd and it isn't mentioned in the commentary or during the episode, you are assuming that it is a nod to Stephen King's Christine, produce a source or i'm removing the statement--Manwithbrisk (talk) 05:31, 8 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re-adding "trivia" section edit

There are a long list of facts that were removed with no comment on this talk page. I believe this removal of information was poorly done and simply cited the wikipedia guideline page on trivia sections. This is however, is not a policy, but a guideline. The appropriate way to handle this information is to integrate it into the text. Even then, this may be inappropriate for this kind of information as it is common of the writers of the Futurama series to have large numbers of self referential elements. "Flintstones" reference? edit

The plot here is described as a "Flintstones" reference, but can you provide a citation to back that up? That is a very common plot, I think the Three Stooges even had a take on that back in the 1930s. Unless it can be shown that this plot device originated with "The Flintstones", or that there are specific aspects of that "Flintstones" episode (beyond the painting with the moving eyes, that's also a very common element of the story) that are being referenced here, this section probably needs to be altered. Certainly there's a classic mystery/horror book/movie that all these others are referencing. GuySperanza (talk) 20:57, 11 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

References edit

It says: "The town of Thermostadt is a pun on Thermostat, a device used to adjust the temperature in many homes, using the common German suffix "-stadt" or "town."" f before or in my opinion —Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.62.222.15 (talk) 22:41, 8 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Episode Title edit

The article says it is a reference to "The Howling" but couldn't it also be a reference to "The Haunting?" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.157.26.162 (talk) 15:30, 26 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
