Is it just me, or are classic novels that aren't science fiction or fantasy ignored to some extent on Wikipedia? --71.38.240.192 03:59, 20 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Maybe, but 'The hiding place' isn't a novel, classic or otherwise. It's an autobiography. 31.49.9.136 (talk) 19:24, 18 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Books people feel passionate about are the ones that have the best articles. Unfortunately, not everyone feels passionate about nonfiction. Bkatcher 05:11, 20 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

That's the problem with Wikipedia. There's a bias in information. --71.38.240.192 07:22, 20 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I wouldn't say a bias, just more interest in some subjects. Bkatcher 17:23, 20 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Tense edit

I've changed the plot summary to past tense. People might check for words I've missed. Bkatcher (talk) 15:48, 22 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Religious Themes edit

I've restored and slightly amended this section. This is because otherwise the article is simply a partial biography (besides the brief introduction) that may as well be assimilated into the Corrie ten Boom article than stand alone. It seems to me that the significance of the book must to some extent derive from the particular religious teachings that it promotes regarding the miraculous etc.R Bartholomew (talk) 08:35, 14 December 2008 (UTC) [noel.com] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.8.103.113 (talk) 16:05, 17 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
