I'll give this a shot edit

I loved this movie as a kid. I think I have the book somewhere. I don't have much time, but I will expand this as I can. It isn't one of Redford's better-known films, but it is a good 'period' film and has a decent cast. It is a good story, even if it is sort of a 'downer' at the end. Poetry edit

Symbolism and organic materials seem to be connected, and digital machines are also human. It seems that over achievers would claim that electronic gadgetry is not organic, yet comparing Kessler in a way, though film charactor, could help some who are actively researching greener ways in life. Have used Kessler many times, apart from Metaphor alone. Cyborg75.203.84.28 (talk) 22:55, 31 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Attempting "Kessler" loop. Some films are better? Color v/s black and white. Propaganda issues through cable. Was a member at 57th Fighter Group, performance night one evening. We played, Carry Me. Larry, Curly, Moe. Thanks everyone75.200.52.164 (talk) 01:35, 10 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Not real? edit

I have always assumed the story was partly based on a real life character. One of may favorites though, watched numerous times. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.186.248.90 (talk) 17:29, 5 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

I wonder if Waldo Salt had a hand in writing the movie. -- Jack of Oz [Talk] 23:12, 23 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Do I look like I'm laughing? edit

The page calls it a drama, but I've heard it described as black comedy. Can anybody source that? (I'd frankly be astonished if it was true.) TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 23:34, 28 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
