I forget the source - mayhaps a Rollingstone Interview - but Andy Partridge claimed that "The Dukes" made cameos on the "Oranges & Lemons" album. ( "The Garden Of Earthly Delights" for one. ). But , he also claimed they died in a firey bus crash just before the album was released. ( Presumably to avoid doing another "Dukes" album. ). Anybody else recall this?
