The band has not 'broken up', just taken a break. This has been confirmed in the bands Twitter-feed (@duckworthlewis)

Does a Twitter feed count as a reliable source? I don't use Twitter, but if it's not available in the long term, then it surely is not. Loganberry (Talk) 11:38, 23 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
If it is from the band's official feed, I'd say yes because it is the same as a press release.Oline73 (talk) 15:20, 8 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

The Duckworth Lewis Method write new national anthem. They obviously have not split up (they've even performed live as recently as this month though that's not in the source). --candlewicke 21:00, 20 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Mason on the Boundary edit

Do we have a source that confirms that DLM are singing about Matt Mason? There are dozens of Masons to play cricket, per CricInfo, and many with more illustrious careers than Matt (Jack Mason for example). I have removed the link pending a citation supporting it, as I can find no such evidence from my own searches. S.G.(GH) ping! 16:15, 21 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Song names/cricket terminology edit

Do we include links to the terminology? It seems to make more sense to give each song its own section/page and redirect people from there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.81.69.65 (talk) 16:03, 26 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Origin? edit

Yes Walsh is from Dublin, and yes Hannon is from Derry. And those cities are both in Ireland. But is there any predominant location for the band's origin, as distinct from the origin of it's two members? The band might have been formed in London for all I know. Where does it do most of its recording, writing, etc? Ireland? Northern Ireland? Somewhere else? Are there any sources for a claim of Irish origin, e.g. something like "Irish band The Duckworth Lewis Method"? At the moment Walsh's origins are unsourced, even in his own article.
