Comparison with The Conformist false edit

This film is not "reminiscent of Bertolucci's equally disturbing portrait of the fascist killer in The Conformist". The Conformist does not feature a mass murderer, and as the name implies the film is about someone trying to fit in. The Chekist is without parallel - there is no other film about a mass killer. Ted Bundy - a psychopath who enjoyed killing. These people are doing their work, one hangs at the beginning of the film, the other goes mad at the end, and everyone drinks. It seems that they like it?
