Roald Dahl book edit

Hello! In Roald Dahl's book Boy, he explicitly states in the beginning of the book that it is not an autobiography. I just wanted to point that out. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zombie812 (talkcontribs) 23:10, 21 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

The Lodge edit

The building now called 'The Lodge' is not the original lodge (gatehouse) of the Bishops' Palace. The original lodge is shown on the 1915 Ordnance Survey map. Its location is now under Cardiff Road, which has been widened.[1][2] I have a vague memory of the old lodge as a small Victorian house. I suspect that it was demolished for road widening, perhaps in the 1980s. The building now called 'The Lodge' is not at the main entrance to the school, but is a nearby house.
