If you look at the edit history for this article, it was created by a user with the same name(probably an employee of the radio station or something) that is only putting it there to try and create notability without asserting that it already exists. I have declined the speedy delete. WP:COI is not a valid reason per WP:CSD. Also, notability is asserted. Any discussion about this programme should be here and relate to improving the article. It'd be better if the page at least had a cast of the personalities. Example -- Bobby Bones (host), Lunchbox (co-host), Amy (co-host), Carlos (producer), Alayna (producer), Jay (program director). They've asked not to have their real names placed in the article.

The Bobby Bones Show (BBS) has won numerous awards including the Radio Personality of the Year (2007-2008), Radio Program of the Year (2007-2008) and from 2004-2008 Best Radio Personality of the Year (from the Austin Music Awards).

Bobby's hometown is Mountain Pine, Arkansas, but he currently hosts the BBS from Austin, TX. His hobbies include shopping, working (as a radio personality with 96.7 KISS FM and TV host/personality on ME Television on Airwaves and The Almost Late Show with Bobby Bones), working out with his trainer, Ahmad, and eating. His favorite TV shows are The Office, The Late Show with David Letterman (whom Bobby idolizes and envisions a future career as) and Entourage.

Bobby's first "gig" in radio was on the college radio station KSWH, 91.1 The Switch at Henderston State University. He now hosts the extremely popular Bobby Bones Morning Show on 96.7 KISS FM in Austin, TX, syndicated in Wichita, KS. Bobby's first TV "gig" (other than a short stint on the Bozo Show at age 6) was with METV as the host of Airwaves. Bobby now hosts Airwaves and The Almost Late Show.

Bobby has a dog named Dusty that was named after the program director (Dusty Black) that put the BBS back on the air after the show was taken off the air. The show was taken off the air due to a prank from a regular bit called "Lunchwalking" that went wrong.

Bobby has also had a minor speaking role in the movie "Will" -- coming in 2009.

Bobby volunteers his time with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Program of America. He has a little brother named Christian.

Lunchbox's (LB's) hometown is Austin, TX. He grew up in Austin, and became a member of the LWC (Little White Criminals) at an early age. He is a self-proclaimed soccer phenom (cannot be referenced) and lady's man (cannot be referenced). Lunchbox is a regular at numerous Austin bars on 6th St.

LB has regular bits on the BBS including The "Bonehead" Story of the Day (where LB finds local news stories of criminals or simply town locals doing foolish things to get caught/in trouble), "Lunchwalking" (similar to Jay Leno's "Jaywalking" bit) and "Guess Your Weight" (where LB guesses people's weights over the phone on the radio).

LB has had numerous jobs, but he was found in a bar by Bobby Bones (host) who insisted that LB would be perfect for his radio show. LB was an intern for two country stations in Austin, TX -- KASE 101 and KVET.

Despite being an extremely homophobic man, LB idolizes Tina Turner and would make out with his dad for a minute for $1 million

LB has appeared on TV shows including Friday Night Lights and The Jerry Springer Show.

LB volunteers his time with the local "Meals on Wheels" program.

Amy's hometown is Austin, TX. She joined the cast of the BBS after the previous female co-host (Sara) left the show for an opportunity in New York.

Amy is best-known for being an extremely conservative Republican that dishes out the "Hollywood Skinny" (a pop culture update -- the topic of discussion being celebrity news) every morning four times a day.

Shortly after joining the show cast, Amy got engaged to a long-time family friend. Their engagement period lasted approximately two months, and Amy got married on December 31st, 2007.

Amy is leaving the show on July 24th, 2008 to join her husband in North Carolina, where he will be stationed. Amy's husband is a member of the Air Force.

This is Amy's first radio job. Before joining the cast of the BBS, Amy worked in granite sales (for interior design).

Amy's hobbies include shopping, triathalons, games (her favorite on-air game being "Name that Tune") and voting Republican.

Amy volunteers her time to local high schools as a sex education teacher/counselor.

When Amy was four years old, she was in a jacuzzi, and her butt got stuck to a suction return. To this day, Amy still struggles with taking baths.

Carlos is the producer of the BBS. Carlos started as an intern on the show while he was in college.

Carlos attended Bowie High School (Austin, TX) and went to Schreiner University to play baseball.

Carlos is the only Hispanic person on the show, and he likes to "K-I-M" (Keep It Mexican).

Carlos does not speak much on the show because he does mostly behind-the-scenes work (inserting sound bytes, TV clips, pieces of songs and music background to the show). He has a notorious problem with speaking clearly and is mocked for mumbling.

Carlos has an identical twin brother (John) that he will not take pictures with. It has been speculated

Carlos does not currently do any volunteer work, but as the only person on the show that does not volunteer, he is looking in to working with the Make-a-Wish foundation.

Carlos has jogged at the local high school track to work out. Due to this, he acquired the nickname "Pickleman" because of a child pornography sting (not involving Carlos) that caught a man whose online name was "Pickleman."

Actually, this is still locked for me. I made this account earlier today because I figured it would get shut down due to the anonymous writers, but it's still locked up. The page is still locked to you because your account is less than four days old. It will be unlocked tomorrow, when you can edit without logging in. Unfortunately this will also unlock for everyone, and having seen what's happened already, I doubt that will be a good thing. I'd suggest you build it up bit by bit; meanwhile I will keep an eye on things. once you've put a section into the article (with references) it can be deleted from here. That works just fine for me. I don't think many of the people that were posting today were quite as determined to post accurate information as I am. They were on air encouraging people to put up information regardless of factuality... I don't know if that's a word or not. The hosts and staff editing it themselves and going on-air encouraging people to edit the article and just add stuff as often as possible regardless of whether it's true is WP:COI and shameless self-promotion of the show through the article. The article appears on the recent changes list every time it is edited, which can only be a side benefit for promoting the show, whether it's intended or not. Regardless, the article is locked. How about we get some factual information in the article to keep the random anonymous people from constantly spamming with information that is not true? If you look at the information listed above, that is all true. It's taken from their radio website biographies and other Wikipedia articles that are about the radio station they are on. They have plenty of outlets to advertise their show through local and syndicated media -- they do not need Wikipedia for press. This article is simply to inform listeners about the past of the show as well as some interesting tidbits about the cast of characters.Mattjeast (talk) 12:51, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Alright, this article is almost respectable. I'll update with a few more sources (and a section on the second producer) once I can find an article detailing some of the information seen on here. Using references multiple times

Check out this diff for how you use the same reference multiple times. This prevents the same URL from appearing over and over again in the references section. In all seriousness, I did a bunch of work linking the random Wikipedia articles when relevent, and you must've been editing simultaneously. I didn't want to lose all of the changes I made, so I checked mine against yours, and I didn't see any changes to the "Cast" section. So, I copied and pasted what I did over the cast section that you had apparently edited. I apologize, I'm not trying to start an "edit war." I'm just trying to post more accurate information. You can look at my account -- I'm new to this. I know for a fact that I will know exponentially more about this topic because my guess is that you are not an Austin resident and don't listen to this show on a daily basis. I've noticed that your changes are all for the purpose of making the article prettier and not actual content changes. I'm not trying to step on any toes, I'm just trying to make sure what is on the page is correct and not random spam from all of the anonymous posters that had this article locked in the first place. If you would like to be more constructive, let me know if you can figure out how to keep the image that WAS at the top of the page active instead of a copyright issue... Also, how do you revert back to a previous version? I'm not trying to rid the work that the other user has done, I'm trying to update all of the bios and not lose my work (or his) from earlier today.

This articles talks about real, living people. Accordingly, one of Wikipedia's most important policies, WP:BLP applies. One of the effects of this is that unsourced negative statements will be removed aggressively if necessary, to protect the Wikimedia Foundation from legal action. Names

Is there a way we can find out the real names of Mr. Estell's co-hosts for the "Bobby Bones Show"? That is, the real names of Lunchbox, Amy, Carlos, Alayna, and Ray – first and last names? Material

I have listened to your show almost every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from Midnight to 3:00am and I am getting tired of the SAME material every day!! Can't you find any different material? I am tired of the beer smashing contest, I am tired of hearing about Blake Shelton hearing himself for the first time on the radio, I am tired of the guy who lets the cable guy into his home, I am tired of everything you do, because it is the SAME thing EVERY day!!!Please get some new material.
