Peer Review edit

Overall, I think this article looks very good and is very informative. You fulfilled each category of the peer-review checklist very well. I noticed, however, that you have www.capitol.tn.gov listed twice under the references section. ZBD339 (talk) 13:00, 2 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Peer Review edit

I think this is a very well written article! I did notice that there is a source listed twice under the sources heading which could possibly be a mistake. If not then the article is really good anyway! It checks off every box on the peer review checklist. Well done! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Emilyjcaperton (talkcontribs) 14:06, 2 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Tennessee Legislature's Racial Past edit

After the eviction of two Black lawmakers (the third White lawmaker was not ejected) over a protest for gun control, I turned to Wikipedia to understand the history of the Tennessee legislature, particularly during the reconstruction era. However, there is nothing about the history of the legislature. There was a period where 14 Black men were seated in the body during Reconstruction resulting in a sharp response in the form of White supremaciste violence By 1887, no Black lawmakers remained and were not admitted to the body for 80 years during the Civil Rights Era.
