Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE)

The award of the OBE to Udwadia appears to be in dubuious. Both cited sources are listings websites of questionable reliability. They have essentially the same text: "Honoured by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by being conferred the Order of Knighthood of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) (2006)." This is contradictory, because a knighthood would have the abbreviation KBE and the title "Sir". OBE stands for Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. This error in the cited sources further questions their reliability.

It is unusual for this award to be made to an Indian national. The Order of the British Empire article says "Eligibility: British nationals, or anyone who has made a significant achievement for the United Kingdom". This article does not show any UK connection for Udwadia after 1992.

I have failed to find a reliable source for Udwadia receiving this award (many websites could have been sourced from Wikipedia). Udwadia's name does not appear in the BBC's lists of 2006 Honours [1], [2], nor in the Wikipedia lists 2006 New Year Honours and 2006 Birthday Honours. Seaching for "Udwadia" in The London Gazette's website https://www.thegazette.co.uk/ does not give any result.
