The article says that Royal was adopted. This is untrue. He was a close relation so I know his history. His father's name was Klinefelter, but his Mother divorced his father when Ted was a boy. Ted was raised by his Mother and largely grew up on his Grandparents, farm outside of Arkansas City, Kansas. He later legally changed his name to Dewar because that would have been his Mother's maiden name had his Grandfather not taken the name of Boylan - the people who raised him when he was orphaned at nine (though not legally adopted). Later, Ted took the professional name of Royal.
