due to the similarity of the two terms, that causes big mistakes, for example in Italy where the main author of the italian dictionary did a mashup between the two term, I think is better to explain the two term togheter
Technoethics versus technoetic edit
Separate topics need separate articles; the fact that "ethics" is etica (without an h) in Italian has no bearing on the matter. If you think that "technoetic" deserves an article—though its usage seems to be limited to a small circle of artists and theorists—write an article with that title. Wikipedia doesn't do articles about multiple topics; if necessary, disambiguating expressions are included in the titles if the names are homographs, but that isn't even the case here. dear deor I understand that separate topics need separate articles; but I do not agree with your statement that the fact that "ethics" is etica (without an h) in Italian has no bearing on the matter (!!). "technoetic" is a very important new term is a very important in a wide circle of artists and theorists. I can undertsand if you state that Wikipedia doesn't do articles about multiple topics; and if necessary, disambiguating expressions are included in the titles if the names are homographs, and this is even the case here. So I do not understand your attitude, it's very important to describe two terms in this similar way. - They are not the same word, and the article should not be discussing 'technoetic' which I agree is important. Doug Weller (talk) 16:02, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
