Pronunciation?

I've never heard a definitive pronunciation for Tanger. Possibilities seem to include:

• Like the city of Tangiers
• Rhyming with anger
• Rhyming with hanger
• As if French (tahnh-zhay)
• As if spelled Tan-jer
• "That place there, I don't know how to pronounce it."
